Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between SaaS and Self-Hosted modes?
In SaaS mode, your Cleo ERP instance is hosted and maintained by EC Intelligence. You access the application through a browser without any installation. In Self-Hosted mode, you deploy Cleo ERP on your own servers via a Docker image and keep full control of your data.
Is my data secure in SaaS mode?
Yes. Each client has their own isolated database. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), backups are daily and access is protected by JWT authentication.
Can I migrate from SaaS to Self-Hosted (or vice versa)?
Yes. Cleo ERP uses the same technical base in both modes. Migration is possible at any time with support from our team. Your data is exportable in standard format.
Is the SaaS free trial commitment-free?
Yes. The free trial lasts 30 days, no credit card required. At the end of the period, your instance is simply paused. Your data is preserved and you can reactivate your account at any time.
What are the technical requirements for Self-Hosted mode?
A Linux server (Ubuntu 22.04+ recommended) with Docker and Docker Compose installed, 4 GB RAM minimum and 20 GB storage. The image is available on Docker Hub (ecintelligence/cleo-erp).
Is support included in both modes?
SaaS mode includes email support and automatic updates. Self-Hosted mode includes access to Docker Hub updates. Premium support with dedicated assistance is available on request for both modes.
